In rural Nicaragua, poverty is not caused by a lack of effort. It is caused by a lack of access — to capital, to training, to structured opportunity.
The Poultry Institute (TPI) exists to close that gap. We equip families in Las Brisas, Somoto to build profitable poultry enterprises they own — enterprises that generate income, stability, and hope.
This is not relief. This is restoration.

Adult Education is Rigoberto's a large part of Rigoberto's background and skill set. His training skills inform Owners on goal setting, the importance of measurements and how Biblical principles apply to their daily lives.
Financial Consultant
Lester Morales
Consulting business owners on improving business practices is Lester's career. When applying these skills to Las Brisas, Lester gets experience in fundamental entrepreneurship at the family level.

Helping families move out of relative poverty is their goal. Although the selected families are chosen by the Client, the motivation is to help them find opportunities to grow a family legacy for their children.

Helping Kids Round First (HKRF) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of people in Nicaragua through sustainable projects in Sports, Farming, Education and Poultry. Craig's South Dakota ranch is now managed by his two sons. His focus now is in serving refugees in Chad, as well as Nicaragua.

Manages the metrics from market-ready live broiler chickens through processing, packing up to delivery.
Biosecurity
Santos Lopez
Healthy chickens thrive better with proper manure management. His understanding of best practices, government regulations while discovering new ways to convert waste into usable fertilizer.
Scheduling and Measurement
Diana Miranda Rivas
Collects and reports on all success measures. Assigns regular tasks to others and resolves problems and finds solutions with all Owners.
Procurement, Delivery and Customer Service
Noryin Mejia Centeno
Finds construction materials, pricing and delivery. Manages customer relationships with buyers while echoing customer needs back to the Owners. personally manages complaints, purchase orders and the delivery process.
